"One of the map sheets consists of a list of Chipewyan place names with English equivalent. Tyrrell notes in his pocket diary for 1894, entry for November 20, that he obtained these names from Jimmy Anderson with the assistance of George Omar as interpreter."
"Jimmy Anderson, also known as Deliaze, and Curlyhead were Chipewyans camped across the river from Fort Churchill, who had come in to trade."
"Outline map in pencil and pen and ink on plotting paper, with place names supplied by Tyrrell. Some portages are marked in red. Another version of this map, on linen, was drafted by Tyrrell, with place names translated into English."
