Ahyout or Ahyont was one of the Inuit first encountered at Hallo's camp on Aug. 18. He and his son Kakkuk were engaged by Tyrrell to act as guides as far as the coast of Hudson Bay.
"The left half of the sheet on which the map is drawn has a second untitled map, which may possibly be an extension of the right hand side or possibly of a different undetermined area. No place names are given."
