Shows area north of 50, from Great Slave Lake to Hudson Bay; shows route of 1893 Geological Survey expedition from Athabasca Landing to Fort Churchill by canoe, and then overland to Winnipeg; rivers and lakes named as well as some special features related to the expedition such as 'musk-oxen'.
"Outline map in black ink, including latitude and longitude grid, scale statement and title. The map uses names such as 'Tobaunt Lake', 'Telzoa River' favoured by James Tyrrell, not found on published versions of the map." Forms part of the 'Manuscripts' sub-series.
