"The letter is dated August 22, 1894, however, the postmark on the envelope reads Feb. 23, 1895, at Prince Albert, Saskatchewan. Tyrrell had given the letter to an Eskimo trader, Anuleah, who carried it as far as a trading post at Reindeer Lake. It eventually reached Dollie on March 5, 1895, long after JBT's safe return."
